BACKGROUND
'As the former Resident Lighting Designer at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia over the last eight years, I've worked with a variety of artists who value hard-work, dedication, and passion. As a result I am ambitious and confident in my abilities as a lighting designer. My position at the Georgia Theatre provided ample opportunities to experiment and become proficient with a variety of lighting styles to accommodate a diversity of artists. I have developed skills to manipulate the instruments in a method that successfully emphasizes the performance of the night. My goal as a lighting designer is to create the atmosphere the performance demands and audiences expect.'
As of 2021 I operate under Sparky Lights, LLC on independent projects.

House Lighting Designer
As a House Lighting Designer, it was my job to assist touring LDs, keep paperwork updated, maintenance venue equipment, program the consoles and operate any available consoles.

Lighting Designer for Del McCoury Band at Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA First show at The Georgia Theatre with our four new Chauvet Rogue R2 Spot. I received them during load-in for Del McCoury Band. It was not required to have them flown and programmed before doors and I did it out of pure joy.
Lighting Designer Good House Keeping Magazine Lighting Designer for a photo shoot with Wendi McLendon-Covey for Good House Keeping Magazine. Wendi McLendon-Covey was an absolute joy to work with and I got my favorite look in Good House Keeping Magazine!
Lighting Designer for local artist. Pip the pansy allows me to use downstage lighting during her performances to enhance her art style.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Lighting Console's
I program touring shows using Avolites consoles. All the shows at the Georgia theatre are programmed using the Martin M1 console ( Onyx). I know basic GrandMA 2 programming and prefer to setup a busking page or use it for corporate gigs.
